Spring, cable and opener repairs don't wait on a permit. A new door does, and the office depends on where the house sits, not your mailing address.
- Unincorporated Miami-Dade
- Kendall, Westchester, and areas like Leisure City or Naranja (even with a "Homestead" mailing address) are permitted by Miami-Dade County.
- Miami-Dade cities
- Hialeah, Miami Lakes, Doral, Miami, Coral Gables and Homestead each run their own building department.
- Broward
- Miramar, Pembroke Pines, Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Davie and Weston each handle their own permits.
- Both counties
- Miami-Dade and Broward are in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ), so a new door needs a current Miami-Dade NOA or Florida Product Approval that covers that zone.
New doors are permitted through our general contractor partner, and the permit is included in your quote.

How do I get a garage door quote in my city?
Call or WhatsApp (561) 724-0724 with your city or ZIP code and, if you can, a photo or video of the door. Every job is quoted individually based on the door and the part it needs, and you get the quote in writing before any work starts. Nothing extra without your OK. Sundays, holidays and after 8 pm: call or WhatsApp to check availability.
My city isn't on the list. Will you still fix my garage door?
Often, yes. We work across most of Miami-Dade and Broward. WhatsApp or text us your ZIP code and a photo of the door and we'll tell you honestly whether we can come and when. We don't work in Palm Beach County right now.
Where is same-day garage door service most likely?
In Hialeah and Miami Lakes, Doral, Kendall and Westchester, and Miramar and Pembroke Pines. We do same-day jobs in the other cities too, but it depends on the day's schedule. If we can't make it today, we tell you before you wait on us.
Do you work on commercial doors or gates?
No. We only work on garage doors for houses and townhomes. We don't do commercial or rolling-steel doors, wood doors or gates.
Who files the permit for a new garage door?
New doors are permitted through our general contractor partner, with the county or the city, whichever applies to your address. The permit is included in your quote, which also lists the door's NOA number and expiry date.
