How do garage door quotes work at SolvTek?
Every job is quoted individually, because doors, springs and openers vary. Send a photo by WhatsApp or text, or call, and we reply with a written quote. No work starts until you approve it, and nothing extra is added without your OK.
Can you quote a garage door repair from a photo?
Most repairs, yes. A photo of the whole door from inside and one of the broken part (springs, cable, opener sticker) is usually enough. New doors and some panel jobs need a visit to measure before we quote.
What warranty do you give on garage door work?
1-year parts / 90-day labor on the work we do and the parts we install.
Is the permit included with a new garage door?
Yes. New garage doors in Miami-Dade and Broward need a permit, and ours are permitted through our general contractor partner. The permit is part of your written door quote.
What garage door work don’t you do?
We focus on residential garage doors and openers. We don’t service commercial rolling-steel doors, custom wood doors or gates.
